There's a couple of ways you can get this with PBL Peeper.
The more obvious way is with the Inheritance Report, which will give you a text report showing inheritance hierarchies. There's not a big advantage of this over native PB for what you want to do right now, but if you want to see descendants including subclasses (e.g. where u_dw is used as a control), it gives you the option of getting that information.
The more useful way will be on the Lists / Objects / View / Show / Ancestor Information option. Then you can filter on the Ancestor field (e.g. ancestor="w_response"). Not only does this give you more information like the PBL that it's in, but you can generate more information on these objects, like using View / Show / Find count... / Append Filter to narrow down your list by the windows that contain a specific string. Additionally, depending on the type of "batch modifications" you need to do, if it's a Search & Replace modification, you can use this filtered list to create an Object Filter for use with the S&R.
