Dear Sruthi

regarding:

hi Christoph,

"A reportable quantity (RQ) is the minimum quantity of a hazardous substance which, if released, is required to be reported"

In this context the customer receives a product from a vendor, and if there is a leakage in the product received (at time time of GR) this quantity has to be reported as part of regulatory compliance.

Any thoughts on how this scenario can be captured in EHS?

=> the "reportable quantity" is part of documents which you have to provide to the customer (either SDS/MSDS or transport documemts): The same way the other way around: if you receive a chemistry you need the informtaiotn and you should get SDS/MSDS or tranport doucments

Now you can enter the data in EHS and therefore you can report that (using some EH&S quiries etc.)
